Well, here we go. In less than 12 hours I will be on a plane and headed for Haiti and a new life. So many thoughts going thru my head today...excited for all the possibilities....nervous due to so many new experiences...sad leaving so many people I love. I am so thankful for all of the people that have loved, supported and encouraged me and for Dwyane Warnecke who has spent a lot of time helping me learn how to put pictures on my blog. So thank you all for making this possible.
We are praying that your trip has been great and your work begins smoothly!
ReplyDeleteGood job grasshopper. I will be praying, reading, and listening.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all you do.
Dwyane
We are all going to miss you. I'm sure you will be as invaluable to the people of Haiti as you are to us here at CUMC.
ReplyDeleteAre prayers, well-wishes, hopes, and dreams are with you all along this adventure. Enjoy it.
Bon voyage, Barbara!
Hi Barb! Praying for you right now. So excited for your new adventure and your courageous spirit. Nothing like a 3rd world country to teach you patience and remind you what the really important things in life are. So glad I got to see you on Monday. It was pretty crazy, as usual, so unfortunatly I didn't get to talk to you very long. But know that you will not be forgotten while you are down there, and I'll look forward to keeping up with you on the blog. Take care xoxox Kristin
ReplyDeleteThinking of you this morning and praying you had a restful night. Go Barb Go Barb Go Barb (: Love you.
ReplyDeleteSunday morning...miss "talking" with you...but know you are worshiping and serving today. Praying that you discover great joy and love everyday in every way...
ReplyDeleteNOTE FROM BARBARA ON NOVEMBER 07, 2011
ReplyDeleteAll is well. Tell your congregation not to compain if sermon to long. Church yesterday from 0830 until 1040 but was great. A lot of singing and praying. Truely felt God with me. Singing every morning. Love and joy.
